Historical Data Retrieval & Trending

Data Listing page

Data Listing page is to enable user to search all data that was logged using ODM-Mobile, with reference to various filtering criteria and display them in a table format. Once the data is tabulated, it can be generated into exported into an Excel file, view it in XY Trending chart format, or view the Alarm Summary in Pie Chart format

In order to view data, user has to:

    1. Login into ODM-Web.
    2. Click on “Data Listing” menu located on left of the screen.

This page allows user to filter the data to be displayed. Available filters are:

    • Date Range (Start Time and End Time)
    • Specific shift time (if for the day only)
    • Location / Equipment or Tag Group
    • Tag Name(s) / Favourites Tag Name(s)

Please take note that all the filters are optional to fill in. If user wants to view all data, all the fields should leave as blank. However, retrieving all data without filtering may takes a while depending of the number of records affected.

 

Filtering by tag name

The Data Listing enables user to filter the data display by specific or multiple tag names.
In order to filter by tag name, user has to add the tag name(s) on to the tag name filtering text box.
    1. Click on the Tag text box and the search tag page will be pop up
    2. Simply type the Tag Name or Tag Description text, and the similar tag will be available for selection from the drop down list. Alternatively, you can search by selecting the tag group
    3. Select the tag or tags that need to be analysed
    4. Click “Add” button to add the tag into the filtering text box. User can add up to 32 tag names.
    5. To remove a tag, simply click “x” button on the selected tag name. Or, click “x” (at the end of the text box), if user chose to clear all tags in the list.

 

Saving the tag name as Favourite

Adding tag names to view the data display or historical trending each time could be quite troublesome and time consuming. After the tags are selected, user may save the selection into the Favorites, for easier and faster retrieval in future

 

In order to save them as one of the Favourites:
    1. Please click on the “Favourites” icon and select “Save as”.
    2. Input the Favourite name and its category name
    3. Check on the “Viewable by public”, if you would like this favourite to be available to other users within your site
    4. Check on the “Editable by public”, if you would like this favourite to be editable or modified by other users
    5. Click on the “Add” button to add and save the new favourite

 

Load & Manage your Favourites

Once the favourite has been saved, you may load it back easily by:
    1. Clicking on the “Favourites” icon and select “Load”. Or you can click on the “Name of the favourite” right away.
    2. The list of favourites that are accessible to the user will be displayed
    3. Double click on the favourites and the list of tag name will be loaded and displayed.
In order to edit the favourite’s properties or remove the favourite, just click on the “Edit” or “Remove” icons on the “Edit” column accordingly.

 

Trending Page

ODM provides historical trending tools (multiple pens) for data charting and analysis.
Click on the TRENDING menu to go to the Trending page. The following figure illustrates the Trending screen.
In order to view historical trend of particular tags, user has to add tag name on to the pen list.
    1. Simply type the Tag Name or Tag Description text, and the similar tag will be available for selection from the drop-down list
    2. Select the tag or tags that need to be analysed and it will be added to the pen list. User can add up to 32 pen trends but the performance and chart readability will be reduced as more trends are added.
    3. Alternatively, user can select the pen list from the Favourites.
    4. To remove a tag, simply click “x” button on the selected tag name. Or, click “x” (at the end of the text box), if user chose to clear all tags in the list.
After the tags are selected, user may save the selection into the Favorites, such that it can be loaded easily in the future.
 
 
Other Display / View Options
 
 
 
 

The trending page provides other display / view options, namely the following

    1. Trending – Multiple Pen Trend
    2. Trending – Single Pen Trend (with display of alarm limits line)
    3. Table – Display all data in table format and available for export to Excel file format
    4. Alarm Summary - Display only alarm data table format. Available for export to Excel file format and display in Pie Chart format
